In representing clients involved in a myriad of real estate activities, Karen Meehan enjoys guiding them through the purchase and sale of low-rise apartment buildings, industrial buildings, mid-range and luxury residences (including co-ops), and vacation homes and properties.
Karen has also worked with clients in matters arising after renovations, as well as representing clients purchasing vacant land for development.
In April 2016, Karen was awarded Habitat for Humanity's “Golden Hammer” award in recognition of her extraordinary legal service to Habitat and to its clients. Habitat acknowledged her extraordinary kindness and compassion towards their clients as she guided them through the closing process. For most, of Habitat's clients, it is the first time they have ever owned a house, and the process can be intimidating. Karen was recognized not only for her professionalism and commitment to Habitat, but for her commitment to the people that Habitat was formed to help.
