Gould & Ratner is pleased to welcome Matthew Donehoo as the firm’s Director of Technology & Innovation, a newly created senior leadership position that reflects the firm’s continued investment in the future of its business and the clients it serves.
“We’ve made significant investments in technology and innovation over the past several years, and creating this role marks an important step in how we build on that foundation for the future,” said Ken Koehn, COO. “Matthew will provide dedicated leadership to help us think more strategically about what comes next and how new capabilities can enhance the way we work and serve our clients.”
As Director of Technology & Innovation, Matthew will lead the firm’s technology and innovation strategy, oversee its internal technology team, and manage relationships with key external technology partners. He will also help set priorities for technology initiatives across the firm, work with firm leadership to evaluate emerging technologies, and identify opportunities to improve operations and the delivery of legal services.
Artificial intelligence will be an important component of that work. Matthew will lead the firm’s AI strategy and adoption efforts, helping evaluate platforms and identify practical applications of AI across the firm. His responsibilities also include oversight of the firm’s core technology platforms and its ongoing transition to cloud-based infrastructure.
Matthew brings more than 25 years of legal technology experience to Gould & Ratner. Having spent much of his career working with law firms and legal technology organizations, his experience spans enterprise applications, data analytics, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technology modernization.
