Human Resources and Employment Law Practice Welcomes Zachary Pestine

Gould & Ratner LLP is pleased to announce that Zachary Pestine is joining the firm as an associate in the Human Resources and Employment Law Practice.

Pestine represents employers in human resources and class employment-related lawsuits (including class actions) involving the Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA), the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Illinois Whistleblower Act, the Illinois Wage Payment and Collection Act and Section 1983.  He has also handled employee-related retaliatory discharge, wrongful termination, breach of contract and unjust enrichment law suits. Pestine also has extensive experience reviewing and drafting numerous internal documents to help human resource departments and employers remain compliant with employment and labor law requirements. His court experience includes taking plaintiff and expert depositions, defending key witnesses, successfully arguing motions to dismiss and using deposition testimony to achieve favorable settlements for his clients.
