Launching a Licensing Revolution

In this article, published in Intellectual Property magazine, Gould & Ratner IP Practice Chair David Newman discusses how a change to the IP system is needed to meet the call for greater transparency coming from the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), academics and industry. David notes that such a revolution in transparency would be like upgrading the United States’ IP marketplace from a Ford Model T to a Tesla Electric car.
