Complex tax matters require more than technical skill—they call for insight, precision and the ability to see the bigger picture. Rachel Johnson brings all three to her role in Gould & Ratner’s Tax Practice. She reviews and prepares complex individual, trust, partnership and corporate income tax returns while also delivering a full range of tax services designed to ensure compliance, identify and mitigate risks, and streamline processes through best practices.
Rachel’s leadership extends well beyond her client work. She is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Oklahoma Society of CPAs (OSCPA), where she has chaired both the Financial Literacy Committee and the Diversity & Inclusion Committee, and served on the Tax Committee. She is also a board member of the Oklahoma Council of Economic Education.
Her professional excellence has been recognized nationally and regionally. Rachel was named a 2011 AICPA/KSCPA Woman to Watch Nominee, the 2021 OSCPA Pathfinder Award winner, the 2023 OSCPA Rick Kells Outstanding Tax Professional Award winner, and one of Forbes’ Best-in-State CPAs in 2025. She was also honored on the Journal Record’s 2024 Power List of Women in Accounting and Finance.
Dedicated to giving back, Rachel volunteers her time with organizations including Project 66 Food & Resource Center, Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, Junior Achievement, Upward Transitions, OKC Beautiful, Ronald McDonald House, Habitat for Humanity and Fostering Sweet Dreams.
