Angela Chapman has more than 20 years of experience supporting commercial real estate transactions across a broad range of industries. She works closely with attorneys and clients on acquisitions, dispositions, financing transactions, commercial leasing matters, and all aspects of the transaction process from contract execution through closing and post-closing activities.
Angie regularly drafts and reviews purchase and sale agreements, financing and closing documents, amendments, and other transactional materials. She also conducts title and survey review, coordinates due diligence, prepares title objection letters, tracks critical transaction deadlines, and helps resolve title and closing issues to keep transactions moving efficiently.
Before joining Gould & Ratner, Angie held commercial real estate paralegal roles at national law firms, title companies, and in-house legal departments, giving her a practical perspective on the legal and business considerations involved in complex real estate transactions. She is known for her attention to detail, responsiveness, and collaborative approach to supporting clients and legal teams throughout every stage of a transaction.
