Gould & Ratner LLP is pleased to announce that Angelo Tzivas has joined the firm as an associate in our Litigation Practice.
Angelo handles a variety of complex business litigation cases, as well as advises on litigation strategy and prevention for transactional matters. He has worked in the areas of labor and employment, general civil and commercial litigation, school law, corporate, administrative law, civil rights, consumer protection, construction, torts, real estate, insurance coverage and trademarks.

Throughout his career, Angelo has overseen all aspects of litigation, including investigating individuals and corporations, drafting pleadings, motions, and legal briefs, preparing and reviewing written discovery, conducting depositions, evidentiary hearings, arbitrations, and trials, negotiating dozens of favorable settlement negotiations, and successfully advocating on behalf of clients.
Angelo earned his bachelor’s degree in criminality, law and justice, as well as his law degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. His previous experience includes working as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Illinois. Angelo, who is a director of the Hellenic Bar Association of Illinois, is fluent in Greek.
