Gould & Ratner is pleased to announce that Alison Constantine has re-joined the firm as a partner in our Litigation Practice.  She returns after spending more than a year working as an in-house counsel at a national financial institution.

“We are absolutely thrilled that Alison is back!  She is a tremendously talented litigator, and our clients will benefit greatly from her experience,” said Eric Sparks, chair of Gould & Ratner’s Litigation Practice.   “Being able to provide our clients with trusted counsel that is informed by the perspective of someone who has worked in-house will be very valuable.”

Alison handles a wide range of commercial disputes, including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, business divorces, tax controversies and commercial lease disputes, among other commercial matters. Additionally, Alison has experience advising clients on financial services matters, including fraudulent conveyance and breach of guaranty claims and regulatory matters impacting business strategy and policy.

Alison was named an Illinois Rising Star in business litigation by SuperLaywers Magazine for 2021 and 2022, and she has been an active member in the Chicago Chapter of the Coalition of Women’s Initiatives in Law, serving as co-chair of its Community Outreach Committee. Alison graduated cum laude from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where she earned a Certificate in Tax Law and served as a Senior Editor on the Loyola Consumer Law Review.
